(More customer reviews)After reading review after review of how durable this chair was I purchased it for our family. The largest person using the chair is just over 200lbs. I would expect a chair used frequently by an average size family to last a lot longer.
The comfort, padding and fabric are still all in great shape. I like how easily the fabric has been to clean up after toddler messes. The chair is also a nice height for both my husband and I when adjusted. I am on the shorter side at 5'5" and I feel that it would not work well for someone much shorter.
Now the bad part. About six months into owning this chair it started to creak and crack when it was sat in, turned or moved. Shortly after that it became wobly on it's post. We checked all screws. Everything was still functional and in place. Following that screws started falling out and not screwing back in which means the plastic had been stripped somehow. I am sure it was not from high heat as we live in a rather cold enviroment and even our short summers aren't all that warm.
Now about a year later the arm of the chair has broken where one of the screws attaches and many screws have fallen out and the oadding is barely held on.
Overall I am very disapointed in the quality of this chair. I get more lasting durability from my toddler's little platic chairs that are only designed for small children to use.
