The kids love the chairs, and mom and dad feel good about the posture. A cheap standard chair would run a bit less, but would not offer the ergo benefits that this one had.
The bad news: the ball that came with the chair was very small, not large enough in diameter to fill out the chair, and was not the same as featured in the picture (which features a larger diameter ball that fully fills out the chair's diameter). As a result, it was not useful for my 7 and 8 year olds, who needed a larger diameter chair, but would be fine for a smaller/younger kid (say 3-5). The included ball is about 14" high.
Easily remedied: just buy a larger ball (which you would have to do anyway as your child grows).
