I was looking for a stool to use at a computer work station that is specifically 24" high. I needed adjustable arms (for arm support during typing - very important) and just a generally comfortable chair. At this price range (paid about 90 dollars with shipping) it was fine for the job.
The chair really isn't as sturdy as I would have liked. It seems acceptable for me at about 180 pounds. I believe anyone over 200 should seriously look for a stronger chair as it does seem to teeter a little bit. The manufacturer states the chair is usable for people up to 250, but I don't believe that for a second.
Various sites refer to this chair as having a height of 24" or 26". This was confusing as I specifically needed 24". I quickly discovered the discrepancy which should have been clearly explained by seller/manufacturer. The chair has a height of 24" without the casters. It's 26" with. Unfortunately, if you don't use the casters the base has a somewhat rough surface. Boss makes glides that fit this chair, but you have to pay extra for them. I found no one online store that sells the glides which means they probably have to ordered directly from Boss. Or I can just put something generic on the bottom. In any case, if you need the chair to work at 24" or 25" this will be an issue as the casters add 2".
The instructions that came with the chair weren't even for the correct model. That was fine as there aren't that many parts to put together. if you have trouble with instructions, however, you might have an issue even with the correct version as Boss crams it all on a single sheet with very little written explanation of how to put it all together.
The back support seemed sufficient. There's no real way to adjust it accept for a turn valve on the bottom which you generally only deal with when you put the chair together. If you have back problems and need the back support to be adjustable this chair is definitely not for you.
Since I was on a tight budget the chair is fine. If you have 200 dollars, however, I would seriously recommend you spend it on a better chair.

(More customer reviews)This chair is great. Of the different ergonomic chairs i've tried, i wouldn't say it's the best overall, but it is definitely the best for the price. Both my husband and i use it and we agree it is quite sturdy and comfortable. The seat height is adjustable so you can decide how much you want to lean on your knees. This height adjustment essentially just changes the angle of the seat. It doesn't really help adjust for height.
My husband is 6'2" and a little over 200lbs and the chair is a bit smaller than ideal for him. He has to rest his feet on the ground a little because his legs are so long. I am 5'10" and the chair fits me perfectly. My toes just barely touch so my ankles are relaxed and comfortable. I would say anybody who is over 5'2 and 6' and under would fit very comfortably into this chair. It should also be said my husband uses this chair more than i do and very much likes it.
The knee cushions are adequate, but i do have a small issue with the butt cushion being a little thin (It is wide enough though!). If i sit in in for hours i just lower the seat angle a little and put a pillow under my butt. For the price this is a great chair (we paid about $85). If your budget is higher i would go with one of the nicer chairs, but if you are looking to try out the ergonomic style chair without really investing it one, this is a great option.
Assembly was a little difficult. It took my husband a little over an hour. It did come with all the little pieces. It probably would have been easier to put together if i had been available to help him.

I purchased this based upon my fondness for the same product in a darker finish that a friend owns. I still prefer the look of the darker finish as it is much richer looking than the natural is, but it would not have worked with my office furniture.
My lack of love is due to the finish. It is a honey color and it doesn't look quite right (in my opinion) on bamboo. I could not find this product a clear finish, however. At the end of the day it is a giant improvement over its clear plastic predecessor.

Jobri Ergonomic Kneeling Chairs Review

(More customer reviews)I love kneeling chairs, this is probably the third one I have owned, and it's easily the worst. It is just not as comfortable as others, I think it's because of the angle of the knee pad. Also, it's impossible to get the screws in all the way and it seems to loosen itself every few weeks. All that said, I have been sitting in it for at least a year now and my legs haven't fallen off yet.
Also having two separate knee cushions is inconvenient - my cat can't sit between my legs! ;-)

(More customer reviews)The chair is made in China and consists of 100% polyurethane foam pad, I guess to meet the flammability requirements of California Bureau of Home Furnishings. The chair is comfortable and you really can't beat the price - given that this is supposed to be an over $500 chair. But it has some pluses and minuses. It's really meant to be more of an office chair than a living room chair - while the seat, due to a person's weight provides nice softness, the back of the chair is rigid due to it being overstuffed. But as an office chair, especially in modern office environments (i.e., with multiple working surfaces), it would really need wheels to be practical. Wheels would, of course, defeat the whole look of this chair as it is really more of a writing desk chair, not a multiple desk chair. Thus, when it says "guest chair" - take it seriously. It would be great for a law office guest seating - but then the price wouldn't be as great given that one would be able to find cheaper "guest" chairs. While unorthodox, I actually do use it in living room in front of the TV - if you have a foot stool to shift your weight back to the padded back, it works well. The added benefit is that you'll not be tempted to almost lie down in a chair as is often the case with most recliners and watch TV for many more hours than you might do otherwise. You'll be comfortable watching a show or two, but with you not lying down in a chair that's almost a bed (as with recliners), you'll get up and go do something else with your time when you're done with TV. So while I definitely recommend this chair, it's not for everyone and might actually be too expensive for just a "guest" chair. Oh, and while I can't guarantee it, the shipper that the seller uses is very fast - I got the chair in about 3 days. The chair comes with the legs needing to be screwed to the body, which is fairly standard - but make sure you have plenty of space to take the box apart and to assemble the chair.

(More customer reviews)Desk heights have become fairly standard, and as a result so have chair heights. Working at a desk which was formerly a kitchen counter-top can become a real problem when every desk chair you find is a foot lower than it needs to be. Also, due to their specific nature, many drafting stools are expensive and rarely come with arm-rests. This particular stool was really the only option I could find after scouring the internet and my local stores. The height is extensively adjustable and the quality is superior compared to the items cost. My only complaint is that the column on which the chair sits seems relatively weak for the amount of torque which can be put on it due to its height. I have not had any problems with it yet, but I am fairly certain that it will be the first part on the chair to break. Also, assembly of the chair is fairly intensive and the directions are not the most thorough. Some components once assembled can be nearly impossible to disassemble, so make sure that you figure things out before you start piecing it together.
All in all, I would still recommend this chair enthusiastically. It exceeded my expectations and has served its function very well so far.

(More customer reviews)I do aerobic floor exercises in the morning 3 days a week. I have a low pile carpet in the family room where I exercise. Since I do not want to wear out the carpet I needed something to protect it. At first I looked for exercise mats, but my Leslie Sansone exercise video calls for a little moving back and forth in both directions. The exercise mats were not large enough to cover the entire floor area where I exercise. I thought of the idea of using a chair mat instead because of the larger dimensions. This mat has worked out perfectly. At first I hesitated because of the seam down the middle. However it has not been a problem. If this mat were being used as a chair mat I do not think this seam would interfere with the rolling of the chair at all. The mat is perfectly flat over the seam area. It is not as thick as another chair mat I have under my office chair but I wouldn't hesitate to use this one for either floor exercises or for a chair mat. If you want to put the mat away after you exercises, it has little handles to do this.

I would give it 5 stars but I can't tell you how durable it is. But for comfort and adjustability I can give it 4 stars. I plan to order one through my purchasing department as soon as I get home. We'll find out very quickly how durable these are since we really work this type of chair pretty hard. I'll get back to you in about a month.

(More customer reviews)Needed a clear mat for my desk chair in my home office with wood floors. This seller offered the best price and sometimes I shy away from the cheepest in fear of bad service. In this case the seller is wonderful. Quickly worked out a mistake I made and shipped the item flat so I didn't have to spend time getting it to unroll and lay flat. They do use big trucks to ship because it is flat so if you live somewhere that a big truck cannot get in and out easily, send them an email and they will work with you. The mat looks great. Has a texture so you don't slip on it, but doesn't take away from the wood floors.

(More customer reviews)This is comes in a big flat package protected only by cardboard on each side. Mine had a cracked, damaged edge piece. Because it would be hard to mail back and seemed likely to be damaged next time as well, I decided I could live with it.
I have a very short pile carpet so I got the 3/8" nubs as recommended by manufacturer. The carpet slides around because the nubs don't penetrate well, but I don't think longer nubs would work because it would make the surface too bumpy for the chair.
I don't know if the product will be durable which is the main problem with mat protectors, but I wouldn't buy it again unless it turns out to last a long time.
