My kids (seven and eight) also love to sit an analyze the globe. They've learned quite a bit about geography simply by having it around. (More customer reviews)this is a fine idea, the reviews that it is a reddish brown are correct. looks good but there is nothing to hold the drawers in. if you pull on them they come flying out of the unit on to the floor. if there are files towards the front of the drawer and the drawer is half open the drawer will spill forward and on to the floor. if someone bumps the unit the drawers fly out. no catch on them. too bad, if it had a system to keep the drawers in the unit would be great. too much money for no technical design.

Second: The assembly is made impossible by screws with poor, easily stripped holes, badly pre-assembled panels and feet that are uneven, resulting in a wobbly final product
Why is this allowed to be sold? This is clearly a product that no one bothered to check out before selling it.
For a job that took less time and resulted in far less painful memories, might I recommend a DVD of "Bridge over the River Kwai"
I need to clean up my scrapes and cuts now.

The lamp is fantastic, if you're ok with fluorescent lighting at least. On the plus side, the light is a daylight-simulator so it brightens up the room very nicely. The clamp is a vice-type and works pretty well, and it's definitely heavy duty enough for just about any setting. The lamp articulates very well and the magnifier works tremendously well. I use this as lamp at my regular computer desk, and I love it :)

Laptop Cart Reading Stand Overbed Table Review

(More customer reviews)I haven't tried any other tables of this sort, but this one looked cool, and I bought it through Staples.com. The table is not comfortable to use in bed since it doesn't come lower than 30 inches, which is even higher than my regular desk! There is limited space for using a mouse or Wacom tablet, if you have one; you'll have to make personal adjustments. All my wires and cables are always getting caught in the wheels and legs of the table when I move it - it's very annoying! It needs a redesign of the legs and wheels and some clamp to hold the cables.
The table is a little wobbly, but seems to support both my hands when I lean on it for typing. The wide panels of the safety edge seem needlessly wide. Some extra space would have brought your laptop closer to you.

This item is labeled as a paperweight but Im certain it will be used as a piece of art. This will look nice on any table or in a basket of decorative shells. The gold flecks surrounding the jellyfish legs are breathtaking. I give this 4 out of 5 stars only because of the presentation box that housed the weight. It was very beat up looking and dirty. I had to find something else to house the item before I packed it back up as a gift. Other than that, I would recommend this for anyone. Its so pretty, I was tempted to keep it for myself.

My mother-in-law was instructed to get a gooseneck reading lamp that could be placed between reading material and her face in order to improve her reading capability as she has macular degeneration. This is the only reasonably priced lamp that adjusts low enough in height to be used for reading while sitting in a chair and then the gooseneck adjusts further for your convenience. Sturdy, heavy base to prevent tipping, great quality. Just what we needed. Arrived in perfect condition in short amount of time.

Cramer 50th Anniversary Black Kik Step Stools / 1003-92 Library Edition Review

(More customer reviews)I have three of these Kik Step Stools (not the anniversary edition, but ones probably as old as a 50th anniversary edition of one. In fact, my school opened 60 years ago in September, with the library opening one year later.) I also have two newer ones made of a hard plastic.
This summer I have been redecorating the library: painting these step stools was one element of change. They went from gray or pale yellow (the newer, plastic ones) to chartreuse, violet, turquoise, periwinkle, and hot pink! I had to remove the rubber grippings from the top and on the lower level of the steps--some had loosened on their own, scrubbed those, then reglued them with Henkel Corporation 01-23782 Loctite Stik-N Seal, a product that surely lives up to its name!
I used three different brands of spray paint: Valspar 465.0065037.076 Premium Enamel Aerosol Paint, 12 Oz Blue Hyacinth Fusion Paint for Plastic (425-K02333) Category: Paints, and Rust-Oleum 249079 Painter's Touch Multi-purpose Spray Paint 12-Ounce, Satin French Lilac, plus two other colors.
My Cramer Kik Step Stools are simply gorgeous now, so much so that they remind me of the Painted Ladies of San Francisco!

Home Star Merlot Collection File Cabinet Review

(More customer reviews)As stated in previous reviews, this cabinet is mostly easy to assemble, with the exception of the corner brackets. Impossible to screw in those corner brackets when the cabinet is assembled. Plus, the screws are very cheap screws that are not wood screws. There is a significant gap between the drawers once assembled. One of the drawers does not slide well and seems to slip off its track occasionally. The color of the cabinet is nice but the finish is not done well. I feel I need to be very careful pulling out the drawers as the cabinet just does not feel very sturdy. If you want a file cabinet that looks pretty, is fairly economical compared to other non-metal file cabinets, and won't be used often, this may still be an acceptable choice.
