After long hours of web searching, I found an chair mat that was made for my office. Unfortunately it's a little pricey and only available from a few companies. Amazon came through providing the perfect product with the best price. I love this chair mat and will never purchase an ordinary white chair mat again!

(More customer reviews)This is perhaps the best thing I have purchased in my entire life. I have 3x24 inch Dell flat panels and they were just too low before. I got the 38 inch extension pole which is probably overkill, since I have the monitors mounted about half way up, but I didn't want to have to worry about needing a bigger pole later. The stand itself is very sturdy, and my monitors stay very secure with very little wobble. If you have large monitors you need mounted, I highly recommend this stand.

(More customer reviews)I needed to get a desk for drawing and computer (laptop) work in a small space for a few months. This is the only somewhat ergonomic choice below $300.
Positives:
- Has no "keyboard shelf" like all other cheap desks do. The only thing those are good for is causing RSI by putting an extra 3-4 inches between your lap and the desk top.
- Simple and muted look doesn't clash with other furniture.
- Really pretty cheap, and arrived fairly quickly.
Negatives:
- Extremely poor quality control. The bracket connecting one of the legs to the horizontal bar was bent so assembling was difficult. The parts didn't fit together all the way so there's a gap between the desk top and leg assembly. One of the bolt holes in the desk top had its threads almost completely stripped so it's only held by about one rotation of the bolt. This will eventually break because the bolt is under tension due to the bad fit above.
- The air trapped inside the plastic bag the desk top was in caused my studio to reek like cigarette smoke. I've never experienced anything like this before. Whoever packed it must've been chain smoking on the job.

And when it's in the down position, it's less than 3/4 of an inch above the table surface. I.e., it works just fine. Safco PlanMaster Adjustable Drafting Table Base Review

(More customer reviews)Be careful with children around this table. If they undo the adjustment knob completely, the table base ceases to be adjustable height.
The directions warn not to remove the knob, but if it gets removed; the only way to use the table from then on is to remove the telescoping rod with spring and turn it into a stationary drafting table. You loose the height adjustability.
When the company was contacted, they say there is no fix; but they warned you to not remove the knob. There ends their accountability.
So watch children around the table.
I would not buy the table base again. When accidentally removing an adjustment knob while adjusting the table height means the table becomes fixed height...
poorly constructed because i'm sure many user's have had the knob/s removed accidentally.

Iceberg Aspira Corner Workstation Review

(More customer reviews)I've had this computer corner, along with a 48" work table, for almost 12 years at home. I hate to think how many hours I've sat at this table. It is virtually indestructible, holds everything well, is easy to move (though it hasn't been moved hardly) and has the perfect dimensions. There is a laminate/mdf insert that fits into a grove and covers almost all of the top. Thus, you can use this to write on and it will absorb heat from the computer without warping the furniture. If you are into modular workstations and need to move stuff around, this is it -- for home or office.
I think at some point, I'll go to, at home, something similar to what I have at the office: a laminate Hon desk. If I do, I'll keep the Iceberg (actually, Rubbermaid when I purchased it!) for my music production room, with the computer on the corner unit and the synth(s) on the table.

For instance, the seat back does not adjust front and back, and the seat bottom does not tilt forward. The lumbar support feels good against my spine, but it deflates every day. The foot support ring diameter is too small that it might as well not exist; it's not a comfortable foot position. The seat bottom is very comfortable, so I'm interested in testing other Tiffany Office Furniture products.
