(More customer reviews)This is one of the cheapest drafting/bar stools you can get. Being cheap you should know it is not the most comfortable chair you can get but for the price I didn't expect much better.
The chair comes with easy to understand instructions for assembly and puts together in five minutes. It also includes the only tool you will need...a small hex wrench. The back rest is not terribly functional. It is hard, set back a bit far for my posture and doesn't offer enough surface area for my wide, long back. I mostly find myself leaning forward when sitting on this chair. Like right now as I write this. The cylinder is sturdy. It keeps my 180lb frame up with less than 2" of deflection when I sit down. In fact my diminutive wife has a hard time adjusting the seat down, the cylinder is so strong.
If you are on a limited budget, go for this chair. If you are sensitive, spend another $100 or so and go for full padding.
