(More customer reviews)Well made but pricey. Looks good. The problem is that it keeps moving forward. I have tried a rubber mat that should stop it but to no avail. I need to pull it back often. I cannot think of any help for this. I have tried to use it on tile as well as carpet and a non skid mat. Always the same. I'll live with it, I guess.

(More customer reviews)There are fancier and more expensive foot rests out there, but they offer little more than an increased price and decreased reliability. This unit sturdy consisting of a metal frame and a solid (plastic or wood, I cannot tell) platform. It has only one moving part: the platform tilts in place on the metal frame.
I am 6' tall and find this foot rest to be quite comfortable. It's at just the right height to keep my posture straight when sitting at my desk in my office chair. The tilting feature is effective in allowing me to find a comfortable position, and allows me to change the easily position when I want as is recommended for maximum benefit. Changing position is done by simply moving the platform with the feet -- it is held in position by friction which seems sufficient to prevent unwanted slippage, yet yields when required.

(More customer reviews)I had a very old rubbermaid footrest that finally cracked. Tried some out and wasn't pleased. Decided to try this one, mostly because it was a bit higher than most others and i am short. I was skeptical because it 'looked' like it tilted 'at will' and wasn't able to be set at one position. Well, that part is true but i just LOVE it and it is extremely comfortable whether tilted towards me or if i am resting such that it is tilted away from me! This one's a keeper!

(More customer reviews)I am currently working at the computer at the office for 10 hours a day then coming home and working at the computer another 2-4 hours so it is important that I am comfortable...that't a lot of sitting! I am 5'4" so whenever I sat down at my desk at home and got the chair at a comfortable height for working, my feet weren't flat on the floor and that is bad...on my back and on the circulation in my legs.
I looked at a lot of footrests and this one is perfect! It has the widest range of height adjustments of any I looked at and it is easy to change the angle with my foot. The gelpad is covered with fabric and is soft and squishy under my bare feet. The gelpad can be removed from the footrest so I am sure it will be easy to wash when needed. The footrest is also lightweight and can be easily moved when cleaning.
It requires a small amount of assembly but nothing major, just a few bolts. Mine wouldn't tilt when I tried it so I completely disassembled it and put it back together...5 minutes tops...and now it is fine.
Update: I now work from home full time and have used this footrest for 8-12 hours a day for a year. It has a crack in the front from the constant downward pressure but I taped it with colored duct tape :) and it is still going strong. I would still recommend this footrest as it has held up well but keep in mind I am a small woman, the heavier the user the more downward pressure on the footrest and it IS plastic.

(More customer reviews)SUMMARY: Just a simply fantastic, fun, and stylish furniture innovation. I am extremely happy with my webble purchase. I use it at my home office, and am likely going to be buying several for our work office as well. I have a hard time keeping it under my desk though, as everyone who sees this wants it.
PROS: Rock solid reliability. High end finish and quality manufacturing. I was worried about how this thing would clean, as my feet/shoes are often dirty, and dirt simply wipes right off with a damp cloth. I also like the wheel action, designers picked a great wheel mechanism that has great rolling responsiveness, but also a clever locking system so kids can't abuse webble as skateboard. Brilliant!
CONS: Really, they aren't any. Product does what it says it does, and is worth every penny to me. I might ask for more colour options going forward, but I'm sure when this product takes off, that will happen anyhow.
