(More customer reviews)Perfect for Little Children but not for Laptops. The desktop is made from Frisbee thin plastic, so there is a little give when you write in the middle. I do not recommend heavy textbooks or laptops be placed on top. The plastic gets hot when a laptop is placed on top. The cushion underneath is about 2 inches thick and comfortable. Overall, it is very light in weight. I can see a child handling and enjoying this product. Maybe it is the light feel of the object but, I do not believe $20 is worth the price, I have a cheaper lap desk made from better quality materials.
