(More customer reviews)I bought this cushion to get my husband to stop taking my smaller (blue) one. He plays classical guitar and would get a backache if he played for more than 20 minutes at a time. This cushion puts his body in the correct position so he can play longer. It is wider than the regular one, so it looks more like a cushion than a chair pad, or, worse yet, one of those round donut shaped pillows that look like a kid's potty training seat.
We love the Tush Cush Seat Cushions because they are lightweight, firm without being hard, nice looking, and most importantly, let us sit in comfort without the pain of sciatica. The band across the opening (which goes towards the back) makes a nice handle as well as keeping the cushion from spreading out. The extra-large cushion is large enough to let a plus-sized person sit on it without feeling like they have to balance carefully, or worry about collapsing the pillow. If you suffer from lower back pain, this is the cushion to get.
