This chair is a very good kneeling chair. The frame is sturdy and the mesh back has a bit of give, lumbar support and the mesh lets it breath. It also looks fairly nice. The assembly instructions, however, were terrible. There were too many steps per illustration on a tiny sheet of paper. However, that's a minor issue. Also, the rolling frame is convenient. A small comfort issue is that the kneepad is made of the same rough-ish material as many office chairs. The fact that most office chair cushions are a bit rough in texture, of course, makes no difference since most people wear pants. However, if you are wearing shorts, that same material on the kneepads can induce a bit of "carpet burn" on your shins. Again, its a minor quibble and something solvable with a throw or towel if its really bothersome. The fact that it does have a back -- which many don't -- is also a plus. And its lumbar-supporting shape works well.
A note on kneeling chairs in general: a lot of people don't like them, or can't get used to them. I actually had no problem, and think they are quite comfortable. Then again, I recently herniated a disk, and they are the only chairs I can use. BUT, here was some advise I found that really helped me adapt:
1. Give it a couple of weeks. At first, many people may find the position strange and uncomforable like you are sliding off. But give a bit to adapt. After all, you've been trained in a regular chair for years.
2. Don't always put your weight on your knees. A kneeling chair is meant to allow for a couple of postures. That's part of its benefit -- that there are multiple ways of distributing your weight and position to keep your spine and internal support structure mobile and vary the pressure. However, the default position IS NOT to rest your weight on your knees. It is to put the majority of your weight on your rear with the knees just to lightly brace you and provide secondary support. Many people make this mistake.
3. DO change up your weight distribution occasionally. There are at least four positions for this chair. Sometimes, for short periods, resting on your knees is desirable. Also, you can put your feet on the rest or even your calves to let your leg/legs go straight. The back is a nice feature of this particular chair, because it can flex a bit, allowing you to stretch back and rest your back if you need. I personally wouldn't like a chair without a back at all.
