I should have returned it when I saw it but I did open it and tried to be positive.
First, it looked it was packaged for the second time, maybe it was returned (duh) and this is the second shipping.
Second the instructions are for the chair with arms, but even that, these are the worst unclear instructions ever (one side page), totally incomplete and incorrect: it does not apply to the base (the core of the chair where everything is attached).
Third, the holes in the seat do not match at all the base holes and the instructions does not say where to screw it and the drawing does not show either. Totally looks like the holes were made for another base.... but even with imagination I would not know where to make "new holes".
Hey, this chair is "De Luxe", and at $165 it wasn't the cheapest, but it is the worst product that I have had received and had to assembly and I have done my fair.
Amazon, you lost me as a customer until you specify in each product WHERE is made. This hidden chinese junk behind the web is a rip-off.
Probably if i am allow to return it, the shipping will be like $50 ... great.
