(More customer reviews)I will have to admit that when I first got the chair and sat down in it that I was not overly impressed - I expected it to be immediately super-comfortable. It actually takes sitting in it for hours to truly appreciate it. It becomes pretty obvious that after an 80 hour work week with no back stress / pain from sitting in a chair that you made a good choice.
I have spent untold amounts of money over the years buying basic office chairs from local Office Max, Staples and other retailers and have never kept one more than a year or so. The seat and back fabric feels a little cheap at first but after years of sitting in the chair with no noticeable deformity to the material - it very obviously is not cheap.
I have now had this chair for nearly 3 years and it is no worse for the wear than when I got it. It comes with a 12 year replacement warranty - this means it will cost me far less over the course of the 12 years than cheap, retail chairs.
I am a decent sized guy (240lbs) and work 8-16 hours per day in a home office. I wouldn't trade this chair for any other office chair I have ever used.
