They really look sharp. They last longer than the clear vinyl mats with sharp points on the back that keep them from slipping. Over time, the vinyl mats crack and chip. The bamboo roll-up chair mats have a felt-like backing on them that keeps them put on your carpet. AND, they roll up! Have you ever been stabbed by the hard plastic spikes on the backs of the vinyl mats? They hurt and are clumsy to move and manage. You will be impressed with the quality and comfort of the Bamboo Roll-Up Chair Mats!!!
