Some of the reviews talked about the lack of really good, detailed and written assembly notes. And I would agree with that but if you just take your time you can get it. There really is just a limited number of parts. It took me about 1/2 hour and that's because I initially assembled the arms upside down - not very functional. Anyway, once it was together it was a dream to sit on. My back's been bothering me lately and I attribute some of that to the lack of decent padding on my chair. This one is sweet - nice firm padding in the seat and my back is a happy back now. Regarding the assembly: just lay out the parts - the bolts, washers, etc in an orderly way and proceed slowly one step at a time. I decided to buy this from Amazon rather than [...] even though it was about $10 more at Amazon. I've had nothing but good transactions at Amazon and besides, shipping was free.
